We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Underwriting team. You will be responsible for reviewing contract documents and comparing banking information to ensure accuracy. You will research and confirm signing authority and verify contracts to ensure the accuracy of data and no fraudulent representation.

Working hours 4:00 pm-12:00 am

Responsibilities:

  • Review all contract documents and compare banking statements, details, and information to ensure accuracy and legibility.
  • Research and confirm signing authority.
  • Verify contract information to ensure the accuracy of all data and the inclusion of any relevant legal entities.
  • Review all information available to ensure that no fraudulent representations are involved.
  • Ensure that any and all incoming contracts are properly saved on the deal folder or other databases accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct diligence via public records searches to verify information on businesses and their owners using public and proprietary databases.
  • Check businesses and owners against various watchlists and note any relevant concerns or potential matches.
  • May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to job responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • C1 Proficiency in English.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience as an Attorney and or mortgage processor is a plus..
  • Keen attention to detail with an ability to quickly spot errors.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of professionals
  • Strong work ethic
